Fue Hair Transplant
FUE Hair Transplant Techniques in Turkey
A hair transplantation involves removing healthy hair follicles from a spill-resistant area and implanting them into the treatment site. Both the extraction phase and the implantation phase are equally important. The main difference between FUT and FUE techniques is how the donor hair follicles are removed.
FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction)
Hair follicle or a group of follicles; Another conventional technique in which a drilling technique is used to remove the scalp from the scalp by making a small circular cut and leaving a small open hole. The procedure is repeated until the surgeon has enough follicle to cover the treatment site. Holes can heal by turning into small white wounds along the donor area and may become unclear depending on the skill of the surgeon. These scars heal faster and are less visible than FUT.
FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation)
Generally, it is a traditional technique in which a thin scalp is removed from the lower part of the scalp. The hair follicles are then separated into a single unit under a microscope. The scalp where the strip is removed is then sutured. Because the extraction phase is faster than alternative techniques, hair transplantation is more economical, but leaves a significant scar that can be seen under short hair. Nowadays, it is not applied much.
